Events
In 2008 we are going to take part in some local festivals and events. Many weekends you’ll find us out and about in the Sierras. Please stop by for a visit, we would love to meet you. We will be selling the favorite items from the gourmet line and providing samples to try. Also available are the dried fruits, nuts and candies as well as the beef jerky. Columbia Mercantile
If you enjoy traveling on Highway 49 and around the Sierras, as we do, products are now available in select locations. A favorite place to stop and take a stroll in history is the Columbia State Historic Park in Columbia, CA. This is quick jaunt off the 49. It is one of the best preserved California gold rush towns. Paul and Mary Gjerde have operated the mercantile since 1977. Several items are available for sale at the Columbia Mercantile. Two favorites available are Apricot Ginger Teriyaki Glaze and the Sizzlin' Habanero BBQ sauce. This store is perfect spot to purchase picnic supplies. Also available are the gourmet mustards. The historic park has several locations just right for a leisurely lunch. They are also a Beef Jerky Hot Spot and carry the Real Western Beef Jerky.
Oakhurst Giftworks
If you are headed to Yosemite National Park via highway 41- the Southern Gateway to Yosemite, products are available in Oakhurst, CA at Oakhurst Giftworks. If you need that special gift, this is the place to stop. It is located on Hwy. 41 and 426. They say browsers are always welcome. They were established in 1978. They carry an assortment of Yosemite Sierra Specialties gourmet salsas, grill sauces, marinades and dressings. Some favorites are Fire Roasted Salsa and Blue Cheese Pecan Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing. They are also a Beef Jerky Hot Spot and carry Real Western Beef Jerky. The store also carries many country gifts and collectibles. These are two great locations to stop and visit while in the area and enjoying all that the Sierras has to offer.
Coarsegold Market
Yosemite Sierra Specialties now has a selection of dried fruit, beef jerky and trail mix available at The Coarsegold Market on Hwy 41. All of the beef jerky flavors are available: Original, Real Western, Hot Teriyaki and Teriyaki. They also feature dried mango and strawberry trail mix. This is a great spot to pick up supplies for your summer holiday. It is quaint grocery store with a warm small town feeling.
The Market
Yosemite Sierra Specialties is currently available at The Market, Fresno, CA. They feature a wide selection of Yosemite Sierra Specialties organic salad dressings and organic grill sauces. They also carry many of the best sellers. For example: Fire Roasted Salsa, Sundried Tomato Bruschetta Topping, Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce and Blue Cheese Pecan Balsamic Vinaigrette. Take a trip to The Market and add something special to your basket of daily staples today. They are well known for their wide range of unique items available.
